Exporting a video project to another editor -- which is easier to use?

Can I export a video file to a new editor that separates the text, audio, and video, picture files like when I am making my project originally?

Thanks to anyone who can help. Google is not of clear help (less useful sadly in this way).

But, I started to make a project for a family celebration on vimeo...but it does not allow transitions like pretty much every other slideshow/video maker allows...

Can I export the raw (split) file that has audio, text, video, pictures in separate edit bars to another program?

I can send it as mp but that combines each and I can make easy changes....

Maybe use something different and not Vimeo? Smartshow 3D would probably be a good choice as it allows you to create videos with pictures, clips, texts and music and there are various transition effects and animations, etc.
