What is Findlay toast?

I saw it in a book, presented without explanation. The context is a British mom making lower-sugar breakfasts, and the example of a good one is "Findlay toast and porridge." I know what porridge is but can't imagine what a Findlay toast is, nor can I find a recipe.

Best answer: I think Findlay is her child. And Macie is her other child.

Best answer: Is the book a collection of low-carb tips? When the phrase appears in this article about parents keeping food diaries, "Findlay" is the name of a daughter who'll be eating toast and porridge going forward.

Best answer: You’re not finding a recipe because “Findlay” isn’t a kind of toast, it’s a child.

Response by poster: It was excerpted in another book, so that context was not clear! Thank you.

Also, I'm calling dibs, "Findlay Toast" is my new murder mystery author nom de plume.
