Give Me That Pleated Skirt

I love this skirt. Help me find a replacement.

Loved it for years, so light and pretty, but it's in tatters. What terms am I looking for to replace the style?

Best answer: It has a yoke - that wide band at the waist - and box pleats. So: Yoked, box-pleated skirt or box-pleated yoke skirt. The print is a large-scale botanical that to me feels like it may be gesturing at succulent plants.

Best answer: I don't know your size, but if you want an exact match that you might be able to tailor smaller: https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m83758137569/

Best answer: Poshmark has the skirt, made by New York & Company, too. Qualities to look for in a replacement: yoke or wide-band waist, box pleats, A-line, knee-length, and 100% cotton (perhaps as cotton poplin) like your original. Examples (midi-length, mostly): Talbots, Banana Republic Factory, Taydey (fabric varies), Grana, Ducks in a Row - San Francisco, eShakti, Lafayette 148 New York.

Sometimes these skirts are called dropped waisted mini pleated skirts.

Response by poster: That you all have found multiple versions of the exact skirt is WILD to me - its from a mall chain and it's probably 15 years old? One was my size so now I don't have to deal with trying to find another one! <3

Yay! Maybe store the tattered one? You might like to have a pattern made someday.
